J-M Capital Advises Private Company on Significant Acquisition

A long-standing relationship with the seller gave insight into their business

In December 2007, J-M Capital advised a UK private company on the acquisition of a financial services company in the US from a leading international financial institution.

Due to confidentiality restrictions, terms of the transaction are undisclosed. J-M Capital initiated, structured and arranged the transaction.

Also in 2005 and 2006 we advised on two similar transactions for private companies in the UK and the success of these, combined with our knowledge of the seller’s business, were major factors in our client being selected from a short-list of potential buyers.
